Yana + Ian are the couple behind Moth Oddities vintage shop. They opened the doors to their storefront in Northeast, Mpls in the summer of 2021, but have been collecting and selling vintage online and on-the-road since 2014. Their collection consists of vintage clothing, accessories + home goods that we handpick all across the USA and Italy.
They strongly believe in the power of recycled fashion to reduce the amount of textiles that end up in landfills. Along with vintage, Moth Oddities highlights products by local + independent makers.

Upper Canyon Outfitters is a family-owned and operated ranch in Montana’s wild and beautiful Ruby Valley along the banks of the Ruby River. Surrounded by the ranges of the Snowcrest, Greenhorn, and Gravelly Mountains, their family has been exploring these lands since their grandfather homesteaded there in 1910. Since 1981, they've been proud to welcome guests to their ranch and share the lands they call home.
We were fortunate to spend a week at UCO. Gerick went to school with Cassie, daughter of Jake + Donna and coordinator of the Equine Facilitated Learning classes. We got to know the entire family + staff during our time and we can honestly say how truly wonderful this place is! We created several videos highlighting each of the many activities + accommodations they host at the ranch. ENGLE // OLSON also captured new content images for their social and website. We focused on the simple fact this is a family-owned + operated business, as well as the pure beauty surrounding you.

“Gerick and Jenny did an amazing job with my video. I asked them to come out to Montana to capture a program that I started with horses. It is a program that is very hard to put into words, but Gerick and Jenny were able to capture exactly what my program is in video form. They listened with interest while I explained my program and then they jumped right in when the time came to film. They dealt with snow, rain and sunshine, all without skipping a beat. I could not be happier with the outcome of my video and I would suggest these two for any video needs for people in the outdoor industry . Their equipment and work ethic are top notch and they are not afraid to get dirty. After the filming was done, Gerick did a great job with communication and requested edits. He is very open to the process of editing, but also provides enough structure that the whole project is not overwhelming. Thank you Engle/Olson for all our hard work and dedication. I could not be happier with the final product.”

Are you interested in learning more about the bible and deepening your relationship with God, while also learning how to backpack in the wilderness, rock climb, or hunt for your own food? Montana Wilderness School of the Bible just might be the place for you.
Cozy and warm, in the middle of Montana, carved in the side of the Rocky Mountains, this school and their wonderful staff have been operating since 1981. They offer a one year program, aimed towards students coming out of high school, as a way to focus on their faith in a less distracting setting. They have a new teacher every week, which allows the students to get a variety of teachings and experiences.
We were so excited to get this call and be invited out to Montana to create this video. I still remembered the first year I dropped my brother off there for school, thinking that this was where he belonged, and now five years later, him and his wife live and work there and have since started a family. We had a blast meeting with students, talking with Ryan + Paul, and learning more about this authentic school of Christian learning.

PRI Robotics has been a leading integrator of robotic systems in Pylmouth, Minnesota since 1995. Their robots are next level, futuristic-cool and can nearly anything; from arc-welding to assembly, to showing up in Iron Man?! So cool!
In early 2016, the team at PRI discovered they had a new need to visually communicate their products to their customers. Since then we have been able to create their landing page video, two stand-alone product videos, as well as three separate commercial photography sessions used for sales + marketing materials.

More than a Mortgage
Over the years, I have had the chance to work with Lisa Wells a handful of times and was so excited to hear in 2017 that she was starting her own mortgage business. Whenever we discuss a new project, the very first thing we always do is sit down with the client and try to learn as much as we possibly can about them, their company, and the need. The need is so important. Why do they need the video and what do they want the video to do for them.
Lisa had a very specific story that she wanted to tell her viewers. She wanted her viewers to know that she was creating this new company so that she could give the customer the absolute best experience. She wanted the viewer to feel her passion and trust in her in under a minute. We wanted to create something dynamic and professional that told her story and communicated her mission statement in a beautiful and entertaining way. Lisa wrote the script, we story boarded the scenes, and executed it with a team of incredible artists that we are lucky enough to call friends. (Thank you Spencer Nelson + Dan Smith)
Another way we wanted to build trust in Lisa and her new brand, was through testimonials. Their team selected a variety of either clients or industry friends who had a long history working with Lisa, to talk about their experience. I think so many businesses could benefit from a really well done testimonial video. As long as the individuals you interview are believable and speak from the heart, they will brag for you and help the viewer make that first point of contact. The whipped cream on top of a great project was our last shoot where we got to film Lisa and her kids making waffles, makes me hungry every time I see it!
If you are looking for a great mortgage company, seriously there is nobody who will work harder for you. We really hope you enjoy the videos and give them a shout!

Welcome to the world of WarPaint International! We have been friends with Jessica, the owner of WarPaint, and have created a number of projects together. It was easy to jump into this project with an understanding of the client and their brand identity.
When we began storyboarding this project we really wanted to build up how well WarPaint highlights natural beauty and instills confidence in their clients. We focused on a bride from the beginning of her wedding day to the moment before the couple’s first look. A moment you might want some confidence in right?

Grand Opening
After Amy's Kickstarter Campaign at the beginning of January 2016, Amy was fully funded and able to open her bakery! (insert happy dance here!) In July 2016, Amy opened Amy's Cupcake Shoppe on Mainstreet of Hopkins. With crowds of people trying to get it, tons of vendor friends for support + a little extra fun, we couldn't have been more thrilled to be a part of the celebration!
For this video Amy wanted to showcase the excitement of the day. To highlight the crowds of people, happy customers, friends + family that came to support and overall craziness of opening the Shoppe. We shot a lot of handheld to show the hustle and bustle of the day. From fresh baked goodness coming straight out of the oven to the many smiling and satisfied customers throughout the day. We tried to showcase a lot of faces to build on the fact that so many people came out to support Amy on her big day as well.
