Their wedding day was basically Jenny’s boho dreams come true. From Isabeau’s unique Alexis Russell ring to their Crave sushi bar + mini tacos during cocktail hour, the entire day was laid back and plum full of love. Kyle + the boys scootered to Aria as a legit scooter gang and we basically got to hang out all day with Laine + Megan + her hubs, Taylor from Rebel Rabbit Photography. It was one of those weddings where we had a beer at cocktail hour and we look at each other and say, “this is our job?!”
Beau + Kyle, you two are just terrific humans. You’re down to earth, kind, outgoing and we couldn’t be happier for the two of you party animals. All our love.

This was a hot one. Both the weather + their love. June 29th, 2019 proved to be a warrrrmmm day, but it was also succcchhh a good day.
Kaitlyn + Dom are so clearly made for each other that it made for an easy day of capturing such an overflowing love. The way these two look at each other + laugh with one another is simply beautiful. We’ve even run into them at other weddings we’ve shot and that same look of adoration follows them wherever they go! Cheers to those feelings lasting a lifetime.

Brit + Daniel
We met Brit and Daniel for happy hour at the Happy Gnome (rip) and they ordered lobster mac n’ cheese and we knew right then and there that it was a good match.
Their wedding was modern with a twist of edgy, draped with deep blacks, rich reds and pops of gold. Although it was a rainy December day it simply added to the moody vibes we had working for us. With a handmade wedding dress by Brit herself, and a ceremony set at dusk in a front of a roaring fire, this wedding was one for the books.

Claire + Cole
We met Claire + Cole when we shot Cole’s sisters wedding a few years prior. Being able to shoot multiple weddings within one family has always been such a fun experience, especially with the Meyer family. The Meyer’s are a dancing clan, they could potentially rival Gerick’s fam. So of course Claire + Cole’s wedding day including kicking off the reception with a flash mob.
We also just so happen to share a wedding anniversary with these two. Claire + Cole knew that we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary so on top of planning their own stunning + extravagant day, they also gave us a shout out in front of all of their guests along with a bottle of bubbly. To say that we work with the kindest, funniest, greatest couples, would still be an understatement.

Abby + Josh started dating around the same time we did…which was a perfect excuse for us to become best friends.
These two humans are some of the weirdest, nerdiest, and most delightful people we have every had the pleasure of knowing. When people say things like “soulmates” or “complete each other” we typically think, okay, probably over the top or exaggerated. Not with these two. We actually wonder how they have survived life so long without the other.
Their day suited them; laid back, all about friends + family and lots of Kesha. It was a major dance party that continued until we left and walked one block up to Mayslacks in NE and continued the good times. It was night we won’t forget…and we weren’t even the ones getting married!
We could not be happier for you Josh + Abby. You did it. You found each other! Now enjoy the hell out of this life. Cheers!

“Jenny and Gerick went above and beyond all of our expectations!
Leading up to the day, their communication was prompt, clear, and they really gave us a good sense of what working with them on the day would be like. Then the day came, and it was even better than we could have hoped. Both of us are fairly camera-averse, but we felt comfortable even during the most staged group photos. Feeling at ease and enjoying both of their wonderful company helped relax us and just let us be ourselves and be in the moment - two things I’ve never felt when having my photo taken before.
Both Jenny and Gerick were positive, creative, and willing to improvise and try different things to make the experience really unique. Our wedding was at the Weisman on the U of M campus, and they used the building and the surroundings to our advantage to give us photos that are so “us.” They even brought a drone to get amazing aerial shots!
We are absolutely obsessed with our previews and cannot wait to see the full set soon. If you are considering working with them - do it!”

It was a perfect day on Gull Lake, with sunshiny weather and a few shotgunned Truly’s to kick start the ceremony. Surrounded by loved ones, Blair + Taylor said their ‘I Do’s’ at the edge of the lake and sailed into the sunset on a boat cruise…which made for beautiful drone footage and had us pleased as punch.
Gerick knew Blair from their Buffalo High School days, so when she reached out about their wedding we were so excited. Being able to reconnect, reminisce + capture such an important day was amazing.

This was a fairy tale destination wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This fairy tale may have included delayed flights, attacking crabs, a Micheal Jackson impersonator, an extremely choppy fishing trip + subsequent sea-sickness, a ton of beach volleyball + tequila shots. It was an adventure full of love and laughter, and we are so fortunate that we were able to be witness it. Cheers to many more moments of joy shared together.
Jenny has known Arika since their awkward days of middle school and trying to manage their long limbs on the volleyball court. They both graduated from Elk River High School, went to neighboring colleges in Duluth, and went to about 30 different open houses together before Arika helped get us into our first home in St. Paul, MN. Arika met Kyle nearly a decade ago and why it took him this long to put a ring on it, we have no idea, but damn are we glad he finally did.

Madelyn + Patrick
Madelyn + Patrick were one of our couples that we did not know before being asked to shoot their wedding. We just happened to be the lucky ducks who got to film these two ridiculously beautiful humans. We were also lucky enough to get to witness just how beautiful they are from the inside out.
Considering this was a December wedding in Minnesota, the day couldn't have been more perfect. It was warm enough for the girls to be outside without fear of frostbite and the Stillwater backdrop made for some excellent aeirel views. Throw in their fun + rowdy wedding party + a perfect speech from Dad and you've got one hell of a wedding.

Rita and Evan know how to throw one hell of a party. Their day was filled with love, magic + vodka.
Rita's side of the family is Russian, very Russian. It was our first Jewish-Russian wedding and we hope it wasn't our last. Their families + friends were so over the top welcoming of the two of us, we didn't really want to leave at the end of the night. The band was insane, the dance floor was full and the drinks were flowing. A Sunday wedding has never been this much fun.

Courtney + Gregg
Courtney + Gregg sent us an inquiry and we immediately knew we liked them. Within the section where we ask the couples to tell us a bit about themselves, Courtney + Gregg said they met at work (at Anheuser-Busch out in Seattle...how cool?!), they used the words travel + adventure and described their wedding as intimate + supper laid back. I mean, these were our kinda people.
Their wedding was a perfect inspiration, especially 3 short weeks before our own wedding. The day was celebrated at Courtney's parent's lakeside home. Friends + family helped create their dream backdrop and the entire day was spent outdoors. From saying 'I Do' on the shores of the lake to dancing under the stars + cafè lights. Not only did they get their intimate wedding setting with only about 75 guests, but they also were super laid back. Courtney spent the entire day barefoot and when the rain began during their dance, they simply chose to continue the party.
It was all about their love for one another and that's what we loved most about Courtney + Gregg.

Alexandra + Matthew are a busy couple to say the very least. When we met with them at St. Paul's The Happy Gnome, they had just arrived in Minnesota from Boston. The two of them were both in rotation in medical school and planning a wedding out of state. I like to think sitting down and having a beer with us was a vacation for them.
Their day was filled with so many special moments. Taking place at Alex's family home in their backyard, doing two unique ceremonies to include both their beliefs and having professional dancers to kick off the dance party. It was a very hot + very magical day that was wrapped up with the most golden of sunsets.

Gerick met Brooke in 6th grade in Mr. Prom's class and was absolutely thrilled to get a message to meet and discuss wedding videos. We got together over dinner to catch up and talk shop and from that point we knew that this was going to be one hell of a party.
The city of Stillwater was perfect as usual with an interesting mix of light rain and sun. The ceremony was beautiful and the speeches truly told us how much this couple is loved. The best moment of the night by far was watching one of the greatest surprise flash-mob dance routines we have ever seen. With a family this dedicated to making each other laugh, we know these two will have an incredible life together.
